A tiny human-scale, hands-on bakery, doing every step of the baking process ourselves. Richard is the full-time baker, Julia manages the business and we are lucky enough to have Matt and Peter help with deliveries Wednesday-Thursday.
We are 100% sourdough & vegan. We bake to order, so we need your order two days before your delivery, so we can transform flour, water, and salt, into your Lone Loaf bake. Our bakery list has staple loaves available each week, but we also offer a varying range of sweet and savoury treats, to keep things exciting.
We deliver to different parts of Huddersfield on specific days. If the list is closed, check back at 12pm on Friday or subscribe to our weekly mailout. We are committed to sustainability, we use biodegradable, compostable packaging and deliver your items in paper bags, leaving your order in a safe place if you’re not home.
